Non-Surgical Treatments for Transgender Patients
What makes a face look ‘masculine’ or ‘feminine’ isn’t just down to bone structure – facial characteristics can be enhanced, re-defined and re-shaped using non-surgical techniques to make your features appear more youthful and more masculine or feminine. Treatments such as dermal fillers can add volume to the lips, add extra definition to the jawline, or help to re-shape your nose (to name but a few of their uses!). The smoothness and radiance of the skin can be enhanced using injectable treatments like Profhilo or Viscoderm Hydroboosters, and loose, sagging skin can be tightened using treatments like Plasma IQ treatments and Monopolar Radio Frequency.
I’m incredibly proud to be working with some transgender patients who are in the process of transitioning at the moment, and am so pleased that they have chosen to work with me on such an incredible and important personal journey. It’s all down to the extensive medical experience that I have developed over the past 28 years that I am able to help my patients effectively enhance their natural beauty and embrace their masculine or feminine aesthetic ideal.
For me, talking to customers and understanding their motivation for treatments (and what exactly they are hoping to achieve) is just as important as the treatments I deliver. I want patients to come to me and know that I will give honest and comprehensive advice and feedback about the way that non-surgical aesthetics can help them, and that I’m not going to offer a treatment unless I am satisfied that it really is appropriate for them. For patients who want to look more youthful and feminine, the over-filled Instagram ‘ideal’ of plump cheeks, frozen features and unnaturally full lips isn’t something I’m ever going to recommend, whereas subtle, natural and long-lasting results definitely are!
Here at Calla Aesthetics ltd I specialise in non-surgical aesthetic treatments for both men and women, so if you’re looking for a professional and effective treatment to enhance or redefine your features, please get in touch! I’m more than happy to answer your questions – you can either phone or message me directly, or send me a message though my ‘contact us‘ page.
