Depending on the number of areas injected it can be carried out in a lunchtime session. If at anytime you change your mind about having the treatment that is absolutely fine - do not feel obliged to go ahead with it if you're not sure. The results will be seen within a week, though it may take longer. The effects last for around 3-4 months but will increase overtime with repeated treatment.

Botulinum toxin is a safe cosmetic treatment with minimal risk and has been used in cosmetic practice for more than ten years.

Side effects of this treatment are rare, but can include some tenderness or bruising at the site of injection. In less than 1% of people treated with wrinkle relaxing injections can cause weakness in muscles near to the site of injection resulting in a slight and temporary droop of the eyelid or eyebrow. It is advised to reduce the risk of this happening that you don't lie or bend down for 4 hours after the treatment. It also advised not to fly within 3 days of having botox treatment.

Who should not have Botox wrinkle relaxing treatment?
Studies have not been performed on women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Although wrinkle relaxing treatment is not thought to be dangerous, treatment is best avoided during this time. Some people with certain muscle diseases may also not be suitable for treatment. line
